| As the idea cross to keep moving on at least to attack and ruins our mind, then formed what so called Tools Of The Trade (T.O.T.T) whereby the band consists of three men being chosen without hesitate for their instrument to grind on. At first glance, the idea to play a simple grindcore getting nowhere to do because of lagging behind and misunderstood each other about our own ability to play even at the simple pace. But based on enthusiastically keen on for whatever we are doing, sometime need to be passionate in getting our objective thrived. Eventually we met each other among us and the band formed around early 2004 with Faizal (guitars, vocals), Hanif (bass, vocals) and Yusmira (Drums) were nutty the best way to call it maybe. We composed a few song and recorded it with a live track and spread it out as a demo and the first material from us. After 4 months Hanif quit from this band to focus on one band and give a full commitment on Reconstruct (another band in our local hometown). The band consists of new three piece and with new bass player from our old friends Alifu. The new line up turns to more offensively and fully with impaction through was Faizal on guitar and vocal, Alifu on Bass and vocal and Yusmira on drums. Prior to formation, all line up were linked to their different way of style of playing and genre of music itself but later on they joined in order to get more satisfaction in spreading out a message and music itself. It's such a beautiful band's name for us whereby it was taken from one of the track of Carcass. We are pleased to announce that Yusmira has no longer active in Tools of the Trade anymore. The decision already made by him and we have to respect his decision, and as a human sometimes we understand that we need to make a drastic decision to persist our own life. There is no breakdown relation with us or personal issue cause for this matter. He’d only want to focus on works and time board which he need to put more with his family and other commitment which has higher priority. It’s hard for us to say, but this is the fact that we need to face. Good luck and stay grind with us! With the foremost release, we would like to take this opportunity to introduce our new drummer and essentially our old closest friend that live 300 kilometers away from our home town. Welcome Kia to Tools of the Trade! He is also playing in other band called 'Mass Separation' and actually is the founder and owner of Symphonic Blast Production. We are pleased to work together with him and very surprised he put so many efforts to the band. See you soon! |
